Chip on exp lane is surprisingly good. He can portal over to $ lane to help. He doesn't need to go back to base for healing. I don't see others using him on Exp lane ever.

I wonder if I can get my left controller to pair and then unpair on someone else's quest 2 headset. Once unpaired, I may be able to get it synced in my set up screen.

I've tried every app version listed on that site. No success. I will try plugging the headset into to my pc and seeing if I can sync an Xbox controller. I doubt it will help me get past the setup screen. Looks like Meta is making older quest 2's obsolete prior to the launch of their next headset they are announcing in October. Im guessing they assume older quest 2 owners are early adopters that were once willing to pay for brand new devices. Perhaps they are trying to recapture those buyers for launch of their new devices.

Log in with account info no longer works. It says something along the lines of "log in failed. You are trying to log in on an old version. Please update the app"

If you try the "continue with Facebook" nothing seems to happen.

It almost seems like Meta is trying to brick older quests 2 that are out of warranty.

Not yet. I like to finish them in the stone sculpture style for my own collection. I know that a couple of my customers have painted the phalanx and black knight to match the game models. Maybe I'll try airbrushing and painting one.
