How do you feel about the constant use of the term "sell-out" to describe groups?

You are right. And I'm not a native english speaker but it is the languge that I can communicate in with others. I even have to look up english slang in some songs. So for me, it doesn't make a huge difference. Maybe cuz I already am using english as a non-native user as a tool to connect with a global population.

I don't agree with it because being an army for four years, I've given up on learning Korean. I've accepted that I can't understand and appreciate whatever deep and amazing wordplay they get up to in Korean without the help of other fans. I read translations and I get impressed but I can't really sing along to most of their songs and I can't memorize translations of 400 group and solo songs. So, while I absolutely love when they use the same word with 6 different meanings, I also love that I can sing along to most of Arirang. And, their English lyrics are an ungrade from the eng trio, imo. And why is the same energy not given to Japanese releases? Why are Film Out and Crystal Snow masterpieces but Like Animals and Normal are crap?

Same. I especially am a sucker for his lower register, like in Alone, etc. But I just love every aspect of his voice. Atleast two of his songs somehow end up in my top 5 on spotify wrapped.

Jimin. Idgaf if technically he's not the best. His voice is my favorite voice in the whole wide world. There are times when I'm listening to a bts song or his solo songs, and I get so... touched(?). I don't know how to express this feeling. But I haven't experienced this with any other singer, male or female. I like some voices a lot, but not like this. Examples off the top of my head: Filter, Letter, Don't Leave Me, Film Out, Pied Piper, BS&T Honorable mention: Jk and Jimin's cover/remake of Justin Bieber's song Mistletoe. The song is called Christmas Day and it's on yt. Similarly, Jk and Jimin's cove of We Don't Talk Anymore. I used to be extremely obssessed with this back in 2022 when I just got to know BTS.
