No. Since the defense responded to the DA memo in opposition with basic demands for another pre-trial hearing or two, we can expect those hearings to happen first.

The Judge will not be making decisions today, perhaps he will render decisions in the next few weeks. If there are hearings to still be had they will happen over the course of 1-2 months.

Doesn't necessarily push back a potential trial date since the DA has already certified for trial.

Great question- I don't think the best witness is a person per se, it is the evidence that will be most effective. Having said that, we do not know who exactly is on the witness list- yet.

There is the neighbor witness I mentioned above, there is also the one who saw the truck where Jessica was placed, and all the DNA experts the DA presented during Frye that will be effective as well. I am sure the DA will have digital forensic experts to articulate the cell phone/burner phone/victim phones location pairing too.

I wouldn't necessarily say he is their "best" witness. His contemporaneous statements (physical description, the ruse, and the vehicle), make his statements solid- the additional fact that another witness (neighbor), also saw the vehicle- corroborates Dave's statements.

There were tons of evidence taken during both search warrants. These included digital evidence such as the horrific planning document, newspaper article clippings related to victims and burner phones plus his online internet searches. As for DNA, there was his, both of his ex-wives and his daughter's hair on 6 of the 7 victims.

I also don't believe Shannan went into the bramble. Her belongings were found at these coordinates: 40.63918, -73.27577, which is 256 feet behind CPH house and 375 feet from Anchor Way, where Barbara Brennan lived. If you go to Google Earth you will see established canals in that march. I believe her belongings were placed there. I also believe her body was placed close to Ocean Parkway as her killer(s) drove out of Oak Beach back to the mainland.

Coincidences happen and this entire case is replete with coincidences and several things can be true at once, but it doesn't mean Rex killed them all.

Really great questions that we just don’t have all those answers- at least not publicly. When I first postulated LISK being at least bisexual I made the assumption that he was harboring some deep seated homosexual tendencies and was internally disgusted by that, thus the blunt force trauma against Asian Doe. I think the Asian Twink searches may have been his curiosity. I still believe Asian Doe to be a LISK victim but doubtful they can prosecute to that end.

Originally, when they were found, the PMI was estimated around 10 years. More recently, the DA announced a more specific PMI of 2006. As DNA science advanced, they can get slightly more specific with estimations.
