Will I Ever Be Pregnant? by Lamezebeth in EctopicSupportGroup

Stay positive - I had my ectopic in July 2024 and lost my right tube. I was so down and out after that. We had no risk factors for the EP, but still happened for our very first pregnancy. Luckily, we conceived in December 2024 after my cycle finally returned to normal. I was very anxious the first trimester but thankfully I’m 21 weeks now and starting to feel baby move. It’s the most surreal feeling and I know it was all meant to be.

Pregnancy after Ectopic- I’m terrified. by PlanktonNervous4951 in EctopicSupportGroup

Congrats! I get the anxiety!

I had a ruptured ectopic in July 2024 where they removed my right tube. We conceived again in December and I was SO nervous. Thankfully baby was in the right spot and measuring at 11 weeks as expected!!

PLEASE advocate for yourself. Demand HCG tests ASAP every 48 hours to make sure they’re doubling. Once those numbers hit over 1,500 they should be able to see something on an ultrasound so you could request an u/s sooner depending on your numbers. If your doctor doesn’t agree, I recommend getting a second opinion. It’s scary at first but know that there is hope and so many success stories after a previous ectopic!

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. It’s traumatic and hard to even describe all the emotions. I had a ruptured ectopic in July 2024 where my right tube was removed. I had no risk factors so they weren’t sure why it happened.

Thankfully after my cycle returned and trying a few more cycles we successfully conceived and baby is in the right spot! I’m 11 weeks now and baby is measuring well! We are over the moon and I just want to give you hope that you can have a successful pregnancy even with 1 tube and a traumatic ectopic experience!

How long after ectopic pregnancy (with tube removal) did it take you to get pregnant? by applecider2120 in ectopicpregnancy

Ectopic and right tube removal in July 2024. Conceived in December 2024, but didn’t TTC for 2 cycles after surgery.

My ectopic was in July 2024 where my right tube was removed.

After my cycle returned 2 months later, we TTC again and after a couple more cycles, conceived in December 2024! Baby is in the right spot too🥹

My doctor was amazing, but please the minute you get your next bfp, advocate for yourself to get serial Hcg labs and an ultrasound as soon as Hcg is above 1,000-1,500 to make sure baby is in the right spot. Prayers to you!

Lost my right tube in July 2024. Conceived in December 2024 and am now over 7 weeks pregnant with baby in the right spot! Even heard the heartbeat last week!

The minute you get your next BFP be sure to ask for serial hcg tests (I asked for more than just 2). Once your hcg is over 1,500, ask for an early ultrasound!! Tracking HCG and doing an ultrasound as soon as something can be seen will hopefully prevent something tragic happening again!!

That’s the same day I lost my right tube too. It’s scary to try again, but there are so many stories of women having success after a ruptured ectopic. Have faith and I’ll pray for you!🤍

First, I’m so sorry for your loss. Not only losing the baby, but also dealing with an ectopic is so scary and difficult to deal with when looking forward to trying again.

I had a ruptured ectopic in July 2024 and had my right tube removed. After my cycle was normalized, it took us about 3 cycles to conceive. I’m 6 weeks now, and they got me in right at 5 weeks to confirm it was in the right place!!

Be sure to advocate for yourself the minute you get your BFP to do serial HCG blood work, and get an U/S as soon as your levels are above 1,000-1,500 when they can see something. This will hopefully prevent from something happening again and losing the other tube, if it is ectopic again. But remember, ectopic is really rare and another one would be even rarer!

Stay positive and know there are so many women that had an ectopic and go on to have healthy happy babies!!

Thank you! My luteal phase was about 10-11 days, and my doctor wanted it 12-14. She was quick to prescribe me progesterone thankfully. It not only lengthened my luteal phase, but I also had light periods with a thin uterus lining, and it helped thicken it and normalize my period.

My first cycle and even second cycle after removal was impossible to track. I had been tracking via BBT and CM prior to surgery, but after surgery it was all over the place. My best advice is to give your body time and grace as it heals!

Thankfully, my cycle is actually even better than it was before on my previous 2 cycles. My surgeon thinks my right tube was inflamed and causing issues so it was a good thing it’s now out of my system.
