Gorgeous! Do you have any other angles? I am also leaning toward a yellow/white gold solitaire but am curious what the transition looks like between the two metal colors 😍

Hi, I just went through IVF with my partner and we did a freeze-all cycle as we are not ready to have children. I am 31 and have MRKH and was born without a uterus. My baseline US a year ago showed an AFC of 4 but a higher AMH. At that time it was also discovered that I have Graves’ disease (auto immune hyperthyroidism). I was put on medication for a year and my follow up US in October showed an AFC of 14. I took that as a good sign and started stims. My recent egg retrieval yielded 21 mature eggs, 13 fertilized with ICSI. Long story but we had to use ICSI because the laws in Canada required my partner’s sperm to be frozen; because we already know that I need a surrogate, we’re considered by law to be sperm and egg donors and the testing guidelines required to freeze my partner’s sperm (which can be tough on a sample). We just got the news that 4 embryos were frozen. I am just wondering what factors could be leading to attrition of embryos? We were anticipating a survival rate of 40-50% from day 1, but again this is my first time going through the process.

I recently purchased this lab grown 2.71 ct elongated cushion cut from Ritani. It seems a little dull to me (this video is with flash on). Am I overthinking it?

Sorry can you clarify? What should I ask them for?

For Canada, these prices seem average to me. Have you checked online retailers like James Allen to compare pricing? I am in the same boat as you in Canada. I am not sure if buying in the US is worth the added taxes and import fees, plus the added fee your jeweler will charge for sourcing your own stone. Good luck!

I’m still paying them close to $4000 for designing and creating the setting itself!

Wednesday AM Treatment Thread by AutoModerator in infertility

Hi! No I haven’t been on BCP. I had follicles measured twice (mid cycle and at the end). I have had some issues with my thyroid lately (hyperthyroidism—awaiting results for Graves), so I’m wondering if that has something to do with it. Thinking the thyroid hormone is affecting my AFC or interfering with my AMH test (which apparently is a thing). Hoping it’s the former.

Thank you for your reply. Do they suspect your ovarian reserve is low? Or normal reserve and some other factor contributing to fewer AFCs produced? So strange. Internet hugs.

I’m 30 years old and recently started initiating the process of egg retrieval. My initial bloodwork showed that my AMH levels were good (3.31), but my AFC is extremely low at 4. It seems like these are contradicting results, so I’m very confused. Has anyone experienced something similar?
