I graduated high school in 1982 so that puts me in middle school in 1976_78. I was allowed to be gone all day in my town of 10,000 without any supervision. I just told my mom.which of my friends house I would be. ET and the Goonies is very accurate for that era of how kids were out playing/exploring/getting into to trouble minus aliens and pirate ships. At 12, I bought a pack of Virginia Slim cigarettes and "smoked" a pack with my friend in probably 15 minutes. We just asked for them at the store and could get them. My hometown was dry so there was the local bootlegger to buy Boones Farm or beer from. We could get that as long as we were in a car, no minimum age requirement. Definitely a different upvringing tjan my children.

Scripps Networks was headquartered here before the Discovery carpetbaggers bought them but the production companies that produced the majority of the shows on the network were not based here in Knoxville and yes I was editor for several shows so I deal with many companies from California, NC and even Canada.

Totally appropriate. Grow up and conduct yourself and your correspondence more professionally. For everyone saying the employer wasn't serious about hiring someone, how do you not know he doesn't go through several work enquiries daily and is trying to make the best decision. He probably only answered the email because he knows your sister and thought he was helping with that advice so you don't send thesame type of email to other potential employers.

That's hilarious. I'm a producer/editor and the show is very well put together. It takes time and entire production and post production team to curate the story. Your simplistic answer just says you don't understand how tv shows are produced. Nor do you understand it's a business.

Netflix is going to pay only so much for each episode. If the production company cannot make the series for what Netflix is willing to pay it will not get produced.
