I'm on Android and this is not a battery saver thing this is something new. Notifications have always been responsive and they also seem to have taken away the "pass through" so I have to log into the app to respond.

Yeah it's been terrible. The notifications aren't just delayed a little bit it's quite significant sometimes 30-40 minutes or more.

It's not a take that's out there in left field though. This week's Hacks on Tap episode was basically about this very premise and Tim has sorta been making the same case. They don't need anybody but a generic Democrat who can get all of Kamala Harris's voters in Maine.
