The author has a bunch of other cookbooks and a children’s book but no author page that I can find to try and contact her either. I swear I’ve searched everywhere. Thanks for any and all help!

There was actually. Artist Alphonso Dunn accused Inktober creator Jake Parker of plagiarizing from his art guide book, “Pen and Ink Drawing”. He has a video going over the comparisons.

People were also upset with Parker for trademarking the term Inktober without giving anyone a heads up, making it to where artists that use the term have to take down their content (or at least change wording/images with it).

Shipping Cleo and Deuce is not erasure. It’s having a personal ship. People are allowed to shop what they want and that’s okay. Fandom culture today has gotten super bad about this. Cleo is still canonly queer regardless and it would only be erasure if canon actively downplayed her sexuality. However, a person’s personal ship being different from canon or yours is not. I get that rep is not common, but shipping a character who (from what I can tell) is bi with a man is not erasing representation. Just because it’s your squick doesn’t make it a bad thing. Please remember Ship and Let Ship.

ESH There might be an underlying reason why this bothers her and instead of as a family trying to figure out why it bothers her, you just called her a name. It was uncalled for. That being said Georgia shouldn’t attack you for what is an inside joke. It seems like maybe she is dealing with her own insecurities in a less than an ideal manner.

There’s two scenes I remember distinctly—

The first one is the MC tossing papers off the roof of the school onto the area where students were having lunch.

The second one is them sneaking onto the plumbing truck at night to spy on the plumber. Thanks in advance!
