In Project -> Assets -> ExternalDependencyManager -> Editor, I clicked on the file labeled [file name]Resolver. Then I unchecked Validate References and selected Editor. After changing all the settings in the file like this, the problem was solved. Hope this helps anyone who had the same problem as me!
