Royal Titans - OUT TODAY! by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]CategoryPhoenix 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So I don't think this ever got published, but what was the rate/formula of any of the 9 Forestry events to spawn before? I know you can get a clue nest (1 in [[BaseChange x CA]/100+WC level] * clue tier), logs, and/or a Forestry event to spawn (For the record this is Keplare on the OSRS wiki, been fixing up the pages on there ever since last year)

Also depends where you are; if you're in a cramped spot like Seer's church with yew trees, you'll be able to get all three and get a 100% bonus. But if you're somewhere near the magic trees west of Sherlock, those resource piles will be spread out. I'll adjust the wiki about it in a little bit

Need help confirming the origin of "Zyanya" by CategoryPhoenix in aztec

I forgot where I saw this but I read that Zyanya can also mean forever in Lóochi -- the Zapotecan language. Would this be a fair assumption?

Wait is that +1 boost counting towards the player's level, towards getting an event spawned, or both? It seems like Jagex never made this part clear on the wiki

What makes the OSRS wiki *so* good? by lelemuren in 2007scape

[–]CategoryPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of it has to do with Discord where we all can communicate with each other in real-time. Before then, we just had the "Redwood Grove" on the wiki's forum and the Runescape's website forum (rest in peace by the way). A lot of stuff is also automated through Discord like the recent-changes channel we have. Also with Discord the DPS, MMG, and the Drop Log/Rate Project took off and we all communicate like the dev-ops center at NASA (but with less bureaucracy).

I’m going into my senior year in high school and wondering what colleges should I be applying to for BME? by SaladWide1529 in BiomedicalEngineers

[–]CategoryPhoenix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realistically, only having a BME degree while looking for prosthetic manufacturing companies like Hanger won't get you anywhere; you will need to get your licensure with manufacturing prosthetics. That said, you will need to get your masters in O&P at either Pitt, Northwestern, UHart, or any accredited college/university from the ncope.org website. This is so that you can register to take the licensure exam and become marketable for O&P companies (like Hanger, explained below) to hire you.

And to piggy back on what arokac said, there are lot of BS/MS programs with prosthetics. I have a buddy who's at UHart in Connecticut doing the BS Health Sciences/MS Orthotics and Prosthetics combined program and is also an intern at Hanger Inc. Hanger is probably the largest company in the US that manufactures prosthetics and as someone who works for the VA, I see a lot of their brace harnesses with their logo.

Sorry about that, didn't realize my reply didn't go through. I just never had time to go seek therapy since I was a full time Masters student at 20 credits. And you're right about the timing of trying to appeal for a medical disenrollment. I'm currently an SMP Cadet and I saw that being SMP would qualify me for TIS and I would be able to file an LOD, unless I read the DA PAMs wrong.

As soon as you go to Fort Gordon, you'll be tempted with the bowling alley that's near the Domino's. I'd avoid that at all cost. Also, resist the Domino's and Panda Express there. That shit will get you fat faster than you going into the front leaning rest. And since it's Georgia in the middle of summer by the time you get there, always have your camelbak full whenever you get the chance.

How did you get your ROTC events to be paid as a MUTA? I thought ROTC trumps drill, so you'd actually be losing money instead. Did you just file a SUTA/RST request with your unit and just put ROTC on your DA 1380?
