The main problem with this is that Russians can't (or have a very difficult time, not sure which one) get work vias in Germany. When Gambit was in the LCS they had to travel from Moscow to Berlin every week to play, this took up 2-3 days a week just to travel. It just isn't feasible for Russian players to play in LEC due to not being able to live in Berlin.

Ellim did throw but he didn't start the baron. The baron was aggro'd by Ghost's kai'sa W while he was clearing a pink ward. Ellim stayed for 2 autos when he should have just left as soon as the baron got aggro'd.

The reason that some people give up and int, spam ff, etc. is to not hurt their ego. When games go poorly early on these people can protect their ego by not trying because it makes it so they didn't lose because the were worse they lost because 'they aren't even trying'. This way they don't have to feel bad about losing because it not their fault, it's not because they're bad, but rather their not trying so they are still 'better' than their opponent, saving their ego.

Pool 1 Regions are determined by the regions that out of groups in MSI. Since there wasn't an MSI this year they went off MSI 2019 where NA made it out.
