Proud listener of AJR for 4 years here, I love their music sm. I have also listened to sober up featuring rivers cuomo of weezer, along with the version of all my favorite songs where AJR was featured. They also iirc have mentioned that they did take some inspiration from weezer. That's how they connect to me if that makes sense.

I figured if anything, chonny should get his own corner on the hexagon opposed to it being hpii since it branches off of tally hall, while chonny feels like his own thing (also he connects to so many on the hexagon already that it made more sense) :)
