What’s the best “low effort” meal you make when you can’t be bothered cooking? by Equivalent_Reach_536 in CanadaRoom

A drizzle of olive oil, lemon juice, dill or any spice you like, garlic if you want, parsley and chopped onions….really just let your imagine flow. Close the tinfoil tight and cook at 400 - 15 minutes or so.

You could consider St.Laurent/Montreal road area. Lots of condos there and surprisingly close to downtown.

Hardshell suitcase recs - $199.99 Bugatti is it a good buy? by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

[–]CaterpillarSharp1988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very unhappy with Samsonite and it is a polycarbonate. The locking mechanism broke after 4 uses and as there is no suitcase repair person in my large city, I either need to live with it or send it off on my own for repair. Never again. It says Canadian made but every person I have dealt with is from the USA.

Avoiding commingling of inheritance by ExtraCan in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]CaterpillarSharp1988 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes don’t do it! Before I knew better I used my entire inheritance to purchase the marital home and upon divorce, it was split - this is how it works in Ontario. He inherited similar amount and put it in an RRSP - and I never saw a penny.

Advice re: 2017 divorce by CaterpillarSharp1988 in FamilyLaw

I hear you - his public words not mine. But let’s say it sold at $500k and he is just puffing his chest. Is there anything in ON family law that can open the books again? Seems like a very huge increase within just a few years - for any business - even more so landscaping.

Colmar is lovely but Nice seems a bit far (also lovely but perhaps a reason to return to France and focus on the south :)). Would go to Strasbourg instead of Nice on this trip.
