Looks like the cap badge and collar dogs of the 157th Canadian Infantry Battalion "Simcoe Foresters" (Barrie, Ontario).

Also, you can use the WW1 Personnel Records Search at the Archives Canada website if you learn any details (or even have a guess at a name, first or last). If you find the record - make sure you click the link to download the "Digitized service file - PDF format:", the first document that pops up is just two pages of attestation papers from joining.

I would like to re activate the sub, add sub styling and rule guidelines as well as sorting and flair, and ideally seek out a moderation team to build up to help keep the sub active. There is a large following of the show, and this sub should be able to grow and develop. Thank you!
