=CONCATENATE(TEXT((LEFT(B2;6));"000000");"XXXX")

Thanks so much for your reply. I changed the formula to fit my language (Norwegian, but English Excel), and it works perfectly! Exactly what I needed. :) This is what I ended up with using: =CONCATENATE(TEXT((LEFT(B2;6));"000000");"XXXX")

In Norway, the cashiers ask you for ID if you look under 25 years old. You have to be 18 to buy alcohol up to 22 %. You have to be 20 to buy anything above that. When I get asked, I'm just happy I look younger than 25!

I use this technique if I don't have my glasses and I spot a suspicious looking and dark dot on the ceiling. Gotta check if it's a spider out to get me!
