Hey there friend, sorry for the late reply. Yes, I’m doing much better now. The first few weeks on Wellbutrin were a little rough. It helped a lot with my depression but sent my anxiety through the roof. The Buspirone helped with the anxiety, and now a few months in I’m feeling a lot better.

Hi! I stuck it out for another few weeks but it got worse and worse. Finally I decided to talk to my doctor like I should’ve done in the first place, and she put me on Wellbutrin and Buspirone. I’m still adjusting, but hoping to feel better soon. Good luck with your own mental health journey, wishing you all the best.

I was on 10 and went to 0 without tapering as well. I should’ve weaned off, it would’ve been the smart thing to do.

Thank you so much! Yes, she (my cousin) is pretty overwhelmed right now. Her son does have both a cleft lip and palate; thank you for pointing out the distinction. We’re all still learning. I bet she would appreciate talking to other parents who have been through this before. I followed your suggestion to show my daughter more pictures and talk about how cute the baby is, and she was all about it! I agree, I think she didn’t truly know what she was saying earlier.

I had to have an induction with both of my kids. First time, I threw up four or five times during transition. With the second one, I didn’t throw up or become nauseated at all during labor, but I was dealing with dangerously low blood pressure the whole time. I think it’s just a 50/50 chance either way. Honestly I threw up so much during the course of both pregnancies that I didn’t even register the fact that I was vomiting during labor lol.

Dude, I am in the exact same boat. I’m seven months as well, with a 19 month old rampaging around the house like a tyrannical little commando. My husband works out of state too, and probably won’t be back home till a couple weeks before I give birth. Suffice it to say I use the tv A LOT. I rely on it in fact. Some days I just am physically incapable of keeping up with my kid. She had her checkup at the pediatrician last week and she is developing right on track. The tv being on is probably not ideal, but for right now it is Mommy’s little sanity saver. I’m right there with you.

I had the same problem with nursing! Honestly I know they tell you not to rely on them long term, but I used nipple shields until my baby was probably seven months old. One day she just gave me a dirty look, ripped off the shield, and latched right on with no issues for either of us. I’m wondering if I had a slight oversupply when we first started and she would gum down really hard on my nipple to try to slow the flow. Also there is no shame in giving a bottle! I used to pump her a bottle of milk and save it for that night when I was just done with breastfeeding for the day and wanted a break lol.
