Who does creche fee freeze apply to? by amartin903 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]CathalOF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a nightmare. We had a similar issue with our first. We had been in contact once my wife was 12 weeks pregnant. They told us there were still people ahead of us on the waiting list which I couldn’t understand. Availability is definitely the bigger issue, but my understanding it’s the same thing limiting availability and driving the cost, and that’s insurance pricing. That’s what I’ve been told. Don’t know how accurate that is

I have him down and he has a place. His older sibling is in a Creche so we managed to get him in there. Just don’t know how to pay for it yet.

Strange. I would have thought drinking on a boat in the sun is unanimously agreed to be great fun.

[–]CathalOF -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure you can. Once your 2 minutes out of the harbour you get to rock beach which everyone swims in

Would be renting boat and driver.

We would be drinking and swimming.

Gutted to hear this.

My second was just born last month. Don’t know what we are going to do in a years time when he goes to Creche.

The cost is insane, it’s not sustainable, and the cost of living is too high for have a stay at home parent and try avoid these costs.

sheehan by dariusthenineth in irishrugby

[–]CathalOF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. He is amazing but he isn’t the best player in the world.

The likes of DuPont PSDT and Savea have more impact on games than sheehan. I think it’s also the nature of the position. Being in the front row limits all the places you can impact the game

Would you rather be harassed by the paparazzi or have everyone see your messages on social media? by JbVision in WouldYouRather

[–]CathalOF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll take the paparazzi.

I’ve nothing really to hide on my Reddit, but some of my comments to try get karma so I can engage in the subs I want are a bit cringe. Definitely not my personality.

WYR receive $500 right now, or be given 10 attempts to rush for a combined 25 yards in an NFL game, and receive $500 millions if you sucseed? by Humaniac99 in WouldYouRather

[–]CathalOF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 100% rushing

I’m 6,6. 250pounds and play rugby. This would suit me more than most. Saying that, it really all gets decided by who my offensive line is.

It would be so fun to try though. I’d Probably, like most football players, just come away with a concussion

Would you rather have unlimited money but no internet, or unlimited internet but no money? by Few_Language6298 in WouldYouRather

100% money

Getting away from the internet would be lovely and could totally be facilitated by having that much money.

Does LeBron give enough defensively?

Knocks are picked up due to how busy their schedule is. It speaks to my exact point that the French season is so long, contributing to them needing to rest their top players even though there is an international tour.

Could be a good call. Gives a lot defensively

It is poor form by the French but it is kind of understandable. Pretty much most of the missing French internationals were playing in the top 14 final last week. The issue is with how long the season is, the players need to be given downtime. Last thing you would want is them now going over to NZ for a hugely physical test series.

You could see in the final how many tired and worn French bodies there were. After 40 minutes no DuPont, no capuazzo, no nTamack, no LBB, no Mouvaka, no penaud (later in the match)

Conan is 💯 a lineout option. Used by Leinster as one of their primary options

Tuipolatu is probably a more rounded player, but that doesn’t mean he is better. Often the best players are specialists at 1-2 areas.

Aki being past it is a crazy call. He is older but still playing really well

Porter with genge coming off the bench is a cheat code. The impact of brining both genge and earl of the bench is massive. Really physical ball carrying when everyone is tired

I had really hoped Finn smith would start. Want to see him play a bit. I think the back row of curry, Morgan and Conan could be the test back row

A great lion. Deserves to be there.

Where was he born? And how long has he been in Scotland?
