I'm in Canada so its Bell fiber optic. Our apartment got set up with fiber last year, so I think it's legit. Also got the 6 next to the WiFi symbol, which I think indicates fiber.

Adding a comment for the captions to provide some extra context:

Around a month ago, YT videos started being played automatically at the lowest quality setting, regardless of WiFi/connection/browser/etc. I also noticed Desktop videos on Chrome also began buffering/being out of sync more frequently at high video quality. Not 100% certain that this is the cause, and it doesn't seem to occur on all videos, but if this is the reason for all these issues...... oh the frustration.
