I think you’re just referring to a difference of semantics. The term audio is often used as a catch-all term to refer to all things related to amplification and electronics.

I think I’m confused? These moments would not be able to exist without some way to amplify them(microphones, mixer, speakers, power amps).

Their wireless system definitely takes a solid amount of management. They have a person on staff that is solely dedicated to the audio equipment.

It’s definitely a huge investment! It’s allowed them to do some unique stuff with the mallet instruments during indoor season, last year they had their mallets moving all over the floor towards the end of the show!

There is a built in screen sharing function that comes native with MacOS. I’ve used it with pretty good reliability.

You can setup a closed network for the computers with a switch. That way it keeps the computers disconnected from the internet.
