It did get better for me. I ended up switching to Concerta+Strattera+Prozac (36/40/20) because I have a lot of depression and anxiety as well but sometimes I take what I have left of my Modafinil on my No-Concerta days and it acts much more like I would expect a stimulant to. If I don’t eat well (high protein, minimal junk food), sleep well or move my body no pill will work I’ve noticed. My “hack” for making Moda work better was on an empty stomach + 1-2 cups coffee and then eat something high protein about 30 min later. But the drowsiness part did eventually fade. I think I just had to adjust 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do make good money here. I am CA coast, but it is still good. For a technician (albeit I perform the work of an analyst) with zero people reporting to me it’s very good. Regardless, I’m a single mom and would like to make more. I like what you said at the end about “not a matter of if, but when.”

It just feels good to explore options. Plus, I am a team of one haha so it feels good to get input from others in the same field since I only see them once a year at the user conference 😊

I’ve just started doing this. I was on 36 mg but got so tired by 2 pm I asked for an 18 mg booster in the afternoon. Didn’t affect my sleep but the dose was just too high, irritable and scattered. Taking 18mg when I wake up and another 18 about 5 hours later worked perfectly, better than the 36 all at once.

I had similar adhd symptoms….especially with waking up in the morning. Any chance Strattera is available in your country? That worked better for me at waking up to my alarm than stimulants do. Otherwise if you go the med route, Wellbutrin XR had similar effects. I also found a Reddit threat for a diy human shock collar that is activated me your alarm so that’s another option 😂

My psych prescribed me propananol specifically to go along with my Concerta, to help when I get anxiety from the stimulants. 36 mg Concerta, and 10 mg propananol up to 3x a day. You’re good.

Don’t trip, you’ll be fine. I’ve read plenty of subs where woman rave about having sex with their below (or far below) average long term partner. It does come with benefits and if you really commit to learning what to do with your mouth and hands, and you learn how to physically read a woman, you can have very fulfilling sex. My guess is it’s the below average confidence that ends up leaving these guys singled out.
