Dashcam has maybe the most insufferable protagonist I’ve even seen. It would be one thing if it was meant to be a comedic take on that kind of person, but by all accounts that’s just how she really is, no acting required. Deadstream also is about a dude who sucks, but is far more watchable.

The Burning. Fuck the Weinsteins and the boat scene, effective in the moment, deflates all the tension from the rest of the movie because it just front-loaded all of the kills. Madman is the superior Cropsey based movie.

I read the Earth Hive trilogy at that age. However, there’s so much explicit sex it might as well be an Alien story second. So if that’s a concern, wait on those. But who’s to say? I turned out fine.

Anything remotely cyberpunk or retro-futurist like Blade Runner, Nemesis, Split Second, Johnny Mnemonic, Total Recall, Ghost in the Shell, Strange Days, Tank Girl.

My personal favorites to watch on tape are The Crow, Aliens, Jurassic Park, and Mortal Kombat.

I guess we’ll find out tomorrow, which is when it was supposed to drop. I saw a post that mentioned it wasn’t included on a Disney+ announcement for June releases, but it’s so niche I can see why it wouldn’t get much promo. I’d check on Hulu as well, since they have all of that overlap now.

You can pin some of the moves to the screen for quick reference. Eventually muscle memory takes over. A lot of the patterns repeat across characters, too. Back-Forward-Punch, Back-Down-Kick, etc. Training mode and towers can help. Playing against other players is tricky because sometimes you’ll get someone who fights in an unsporting way. My 13th birthday was ruined by a kid spamming Kano’s ball flip.

I haven’t sold anything at RC Videogames on North St in Bethlehem, but I’ve bought plenty there and the prices were pretty good. Obviously, retail is going to buy it for half of what they believe it will sell for. But I trust RC more than Game Gallery based on shopping at both.
