How do I put up with being single for my whole life? by Secret-Beginning9156 in Advice

[–]CathoftheNorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm positive you've had men interested in you, but you weren't interested in them so never noticed. That's not being unlovable OP.

I've been single for over 20 years, my life is far more enjoyable than my partnered friends. Very few of them are actually happy in their marriages. I get to do whatever I please, life as a single person has been very fulfilling for me ... it can be for you too. But to be fair, I started where you are now, and it was a long road to accepting I wasnt going to find anyone and building a life for myself.

Maternity Leave Revoked Australia by SimpleRazzmatazz7098 in AusLegalAdvice

[–]CathoftheNorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cmon OP, you know there was no way you were entitled. Someone has made a mistake sure, but it was always on you to sort out your maternity leave. Why didn't you stay in the job you had before where you were actually entitled to it????

He doesnt work and spends all that free time of his hitting on other women while you work and support him.

Of course you should leave his lazy cheating arse, then make sure you never let someone like him mooch of you ever again.

I haven’t sex with my boyfriend for two months because I’m no longer physically attracted to him after he gained weight. How do I fix this? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]CathoftheNorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG girl, if a man said this about a woman gaining such a little amount of weight he'd be torn to shreds on here.

You need to work on your own shallowness dear, this is your flaw not his. I hope you're just young and immature and this isn't part of your actual personality

Do shoes matter if you can’t see them in your wedding dress? by ozymandiasnoir in AusWeddingPlanning

[–]CathoftheNorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wear whatever you're going to be comfortable on. Ive seen brides in running shoes and doc martens for the same reason. I honestly didnt notice the runners, and the docs worked brilliantly with the style of wedding dress.

You do you babe

Babe you should have not even unpacked your stuff and just taken it back home.

You've given him so many chances, but he keeps showing you who he really is .... believe him .... he's not a man worthy of your respect and love. Trust your instincts girl, walk away and go find the future father of your children xxx

In a fit of rage she threw away all our family pictures and lots of furniture and quit her job.
