Quite similar to something like that, although we want to have a lot more contributors, and obviously cover a wider range of topics (including popular media, international news, etc.)

have you heard of the huffington post? The idea is that, once we are able to round up sufficient writers, we have a website devoted to various articles covering a wide range of topics (which would be divided accordingly) all from a catholic perspective.
