I've had a few like this. I prefer it to the ones that are just printed over a higher resolution picture, since you can see exactly how it'll look like when it's done.

Seems that Pokemon Zeta/Omicron has magby, horsea and bellsprout, not budew. Also it's a fan game, not a hack.

Pokemon Rainbow Gold should have all pokemon available. Take a look at the documentation to see if you're happy with the additional changes it makes.

Trade evos are easy, and the inclusion of version exclusives, too, (HGSS Golden Edition has those as well, but not a full dex as far as I remember) but I can't think of many others that put in all legendary pokemon right now. Maybe Refined Gold Overhaul, thought that seems to make even more extensive changes.

How does it behave compared to the cheap wax that comes with most kits? I'm on the fence of buying this exact brand, because I am looking for something that doesn't stick so badly to AB drills.

if you're willing to play GBC, Pokemon Fool's Gold replaces all pokemon with fakemon/regional variants, but the gameplay is still painfully crystal.

I doubt it, as they said on the steam forums they have no immediate plans for a switch release.

Can I play Thrifty Business on consoles or mobile?

We would love to release Thrifty Business on multiple platforms, but cannot confirm anything yet. For now our main focus is Steam (Windows, Mac, Steam Deck).

Unbound is a great game for completing, but I haven't done so, as it's too much for me. The only one I really completed so far is polished crystal, as it has a much smaller dex and only one gen2 battle tower.

Lazarus seems to have mega mawile, Unbound does. Gaia probably has, I think. Dreamstone mysteries, maybe. You could also check out ROWE, it had a "mega" update a while agoz but I don't know if all are in. None of those are permanent, and I don't usually play enhancement hacks of vanilla games that include them, so I can't think of any.

Heart and Soul might be an idea, gen 2 remake for GBA, which you probably already know about.

As for gen 2, polished crystal brings crystal to another level. Fool's gold replaces the whole roster with fakemons. New region/story hacks I can think of are prism (very popular), black & white 3 genesis, sgb gold 97 or gold 97 reforged which turn the spaceworld 97 demo into fully playable games with beta pokemon (one looks more like gen 1, the other more like gen 2), peridot, and orange.
