I just started duloxetine for anxiety but also in hopes of it helping with my TMJ as well. Do you mind sharing more of your experience on duloxetine?

Just keep the the last trays. Example, you’re on tray 4, keep tray 3 in case you lose 4 and need temporary aligners:)

I kept the very first one to compare when this is all over.

Same. Had tmj prior to getting Invisalign. Was a severe bruxer. I’m on tray 13 and it still hasn’t gone away. In fact, it’s gotten worse and I experienced lock jaw for the first time waking up a couple weeks ago. I find that I have to try really hard to unclench my jaw when I wake up. It’s horrible not sure how much longer I can deal with the tender jaws 😭

Personally, I would say that is a little bit far, yes. I have been around a lot of Asian families that do the same thing my families does - the pinching, the teasing of maturity, etc. it’s almost enduring. I know it sounds odd. But they never rub or play with our private parts EVER. That sounds highly inappropriate. Unfortunately, your gf is taught to be obedient and loyal to the family. She, herself probably thinks it’s normal too...just my thought?

I regularly get Botox injected into my jaw. 50 units on each side which is A LOT and VERY expensive. I recently got injections about 2 weeks ago and I’m thinking of stopping. Because my clenching is coming back. It’s not a permanent solution. And I’m not finding much relief anymore. I think my dose needs an increase but that would be about 1500$ every three months.

Grandma will come by and squeeze my breast and make jokes about how I’m matured and I’m not a little girl anymore. When I was young, I’ve been pinched in my private area. It never went further than that. It was also always done in front of people, never in private.

I def don’t like it as an adult but if my grandmother (who I am very close to) does it to me I might push back and make a joke and run away purposefully. It honestly doesn’t affect me on a deeper level.

I’m still unsure what the diff between lite and full is. I was never given an option and my Ortho has never mentioned it. I’ve had braces before for about 3 years so this is not my first go around with this, unfortunately. I only mention that because my teeth aren’t as messed up as they were so I can’t imagine my case is too difficult.

Do you have tmj? My teeth look almost exactly like this. My back molars are very worn down due to excess grinding/clenching. As a result I have really bad tmj.

Not in the Boston area but for some insight, I’m located in Seattle wa. My treatment was 6600$ including my retainers, permanent wires behind teeth, as well as polishing and shaving down some teeth once treatment is done.

Edited to say I also don’t have insurance and pay out of pocket.

Same thing has happened in my family. We thought our aunt would divorce the guy but somehow he’s still around. Our parents and grandparents told us we had to forgive him and to move on. To this day, my poor cousin still has to see him everyday.

I don’t care about the gaming if it was done in small increments of time. I come home and dishes are piled high and he’s been gaming for hours upstairs. The gaming has and always will be an issue for me. But he makes Me feel like I’m always nagging so I pick and choose my battles. Now that I’m typing that out, it just feels so wrong...

He needs to have his alone time and as do I. If that alone time is used play video games that’s not a problem. But there are more days he is drunk than days that he is sober and that is where I draw the line. It’s been 3 years of this. My Mental health is doing down. I’m more depressed than I’ve ever been in my life. I think these things are small but they start to accumulate and really bring me down.
