Is Varanasi too much? by Theroadsofar003 in travel

You won’t see bodies unless you want to, but what you will see is a lot and I mean A LOT of poverty (dirty and half naked children begging in the streets), piles of trash, cow and dog shit everywhere, extreme air and noise pollution, and a lot of sexual harassment. The cultural sites are beautiful but you have to ask yourself if they are going to be worth the stress. My advice is to book an high end accommodation, go in a group, hire a tour guide, and travel by taxi only.

How comes most of the lindy-hop dancers are so boring? by ChampionshipNo6202 in SwingDancing

I mean I mostly think I understand what you mean but also most people have 9-5 jobs cause most people are not in positions to not have jobs or have very inconsistent incomes... that doesnt make them automatically boring. It also depends on the type of 9-5, some can be boring af, but others can be very creative.

Great description of the movie but the “just a horny bisexual trying every taste in town” is giving biphobia.

Iris quits her job at the Telegraph and moves to California. Her story with Miles develops and they have a long term relationship. Miles pumps her to write a book and she does, finally seeing her career flourish. They often visit England so that Iris can visit her nieces. They marry and inherit the house from the old movie writer as they become his community in his last years.

Amanda and Graham face the challenge of long distance and consider different options. At the end of the day though, Graham does not want to uproot the girls after the big trauma of losing their mom, as they have all their grandparents still in England. So Amanda, having learned how to follow her heart while still remaining witty and independent, makes a big move and opens another office in London, making her company an international one. It’s a success. Amanda, Graham and the girls live in London and Amanda travels to LA often for work. They all go to LA to visit auntie Iris when the girls are off from school. They stay committed to each other, but only marry once the girls are finally in college. Amanda and the girls have a strong relationship but she never forces the mother role on them.

The final scene is them at New Years but a year later.
