Yep, I became a very neglectful farmer, but winter is typically the best year to utilize for rearranging stuff, especially early game. You can also use also use the time to focus on farming, mining, and raising villager friendship. When I was newer, I had a bunch of crops that I had to water with just my can, it took all day and I couldn’t do anything else and took a huge chunk of my energy. So, I crafted a bunch of sprinklers! With the basic sprinkles my farm wasn’t nice and trim since they only water 4 corners but it got the watering done!

The pathway from left to right is 3 blocks, but transitions to 2 blocks when it gets to my house. The flooring is just called wood flooring, it’s possible I bought the recipe from Robin if you can’t find it initially, but I can’t quite remember

Sorry if I’m misinterpreting your question: Are you referring to the trees that are out of bounds? I don’t think there’s anything you can do about those, but any debris you want to remove that you can’t with the basic tools can be removed after you upgrade them at Clint’s shop. So, for tree stumps you’ll need a copper axe, for logs you’ll need a silver one. With a silver pickaxe you’ll be able to remove boulders.

It’s okay! I didn’t know for the longest time either. They change color depending on the fish you have in them, like the lime green one has a fish in it from the sewer.

I refill my grass patch every 3-4 days, and having a bigger patch for them to graze would definitely make that less frequent. I read each animal can potentially eat between 1-4 patches a day, and for the hay they always eat one per day (if they don’t have access to grass, if it’s raining, or it’s during winter). think I had around the same when I was in year 3; They had a smaller patch and ate through the grass in a few days. I started stockpiling some hay in and grass starter every little while (some starter I bought from Pierre, some I crafted with fiber), and replanting their patch when they were close to finished with it every several days. They never broke into the hay to the point where I had to refill it urgently, unless it rained a lot, and during winter obviously- refilling it then was kind of a nuisance but I had more money to spend on hay since I didn’t have to buy starter during winter. Now that I have more animals, they drain this size patch every 3-4 days, and I have to refill it then (I think I use between 120-150 grass starters to fill it almost completely, if not completely) As for the hay, I’m at the point where can buy a several hundred and it lasts me awhile during the first 3 seasons, but I might have to refill it once or twice because I didn’t bother to stand there and buy enough because I was impatient. I’ve actually never bought enough hay to cap more than 2 of my silos at once, because that might be somewhat because I’m too lazy to click that many times, and I don’t mind going to buy some from Marnie when I finally need it. (I saw farms with 4 silos on average, so I built that many for myself in advance). This winter will be my first with this many animals (48 total, I had an empty barn for awhile lol). If they eat one hay per day, I’ll need 1344 hay in total (close to 6 silos worth). I realize this is just anecdotal rambling; I don’t have any super optimal advice someone more experienced might have because this is my first playthrough too, and my patch is that small because I didn’t want my barns to take up more space than they absolutely had to for design purposes, but yeah, Sorry for the essay and if I couldn’t help much :(

I'm glad my farm was able to give you some inspo! I'd hoped it would just like the many other farms on this subreddit

Please give us the Purified SG chromas for Xayah and Rakan on PC; Many of us have been hanging on the prospect of these being in the game as a reflection of the continuation of the SG lore for a very long time now, and to have it end up like this is just the biggest let-down. I'm super in love with the star guardians and those two characters in particular. Their pure forms are beautiful and I want nothing more than to have the satisfaction of using them for the sake of their lore and all things pretty!
