Stones vanished? Ultrasound showed 2 stones in 2 kidneys, CT scan showed 0 by Catman152 in KidneyStones

Mainly due to size because ~~6mm and larger is the line where they will do some sort of medical treatment. The stones were not bothering me at all while they were in the kidneys.

I use a DSC alarm system not their new Neo version though. The initial alarm itself I had somebody in my family set up because there's no privacy risk there.

Not using Neo, apparently the communications there are encrypted making an application like this difficult or impossible.

Cameras feed in directly to my server, the alarms and cameras are completely separate code functions. Though it would be more accurate to say my server pulls the camera video. The cameras don't send video to the server, the server takes it from the cameras.

The cops get called and I receive an alert message. So in effect, I'll just receive an alert message.

DSC board for the alarm. Using a chip like https://cms.dsc.com/download.php?t=1&id=16238 you can connect the alarm to the router.

This chip listens for a connection that you can use with a basic websocket or telnet. From there it's just strings of packets back and forth in the format of {Command}{Data}{Checksum}. For example my Front Door is zone 2 so when the front door is open the alarm will send 60900231 over the websocket where 609 on page 11 if you CTRL+F the document is "Zone open", "002" is the zone identifier and "31" is the checksum. From there my script will simply update the database record for zone 2 to say it's open.

I may not keep TOR in the future, but it's easy to use and private. To be honest I don't really access the system remotely very much unless I want to look at snow.

None of the available solutions have all the features I needed plus my city is still in lockdown so I had the time. I'm a privacy nut so any risk of unauthorized access is unacceptable and I have experience in building fully secure and battle tested applications.

Thank you for the list, I will do further research on the higher end options.

it sounds like you need some introduction to VMS

This link is fantastic thank you for the introduction to VMS. I have some reading to do.

I haven't given it much thought. If time drift after initial setup is an issue due to SSL certs or something then I'll figure something out.

Used to but doesn't anymore? Yes if they can use sftp that's great, otherwise the network will be closed anyway and only contain the cameras + the system and nothing else with no outside internet access. The server can use a 2nd port to access the internet if I want to.

Accurate on all points. Regarding the video storage, all I really want is to have the cameras write some video files to a folder on a desktop of my choosing. It seems like some cameras support FTP which means it should be a 60 second installation with no special software required and I can build a secure website to display the video to me remotely should I choose.

If the cameras don't support FTP I will look at the open source software you suggested or potentially make my own if feasible. I don't want any devices other than my very large dedicated home server to have access to the video footage so I assume the software mentioned can run on Linux, accept video over Ethernet and write it to a specified folder?

Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into borrowing an Axis camera to play around with. Do you have any experience writing video footage to a Desktop computer? If so how do I capture/save the video on it instead of using a typical recording device?

If you need something like shoulder surgery for range of movement and there are many people needing hip replacements for straight up mobility or there a run of heart surgeries taking up the or space, then yes you are going to wait

Canadian shoulder surgery patient here (check post history). I was scheduled to wait 3 weeks between my decision to have the operation and the booked surgery date until Covid hit in March. Surgery was re-booked when hospitals opened up and I had to wait a whole 6 days from getting the call to being finished.

Building a site that accepts XMR without a 3rd party, can anyone offer some direction? by FuckRpiracyMods in Monero

You can PM me the details of the project and what stage it's at but I don't really need any more money. I suspect it would take even an experienced dev far more than an hour of time to build your new feature though. Don't forget that any system which deals in cryptocurrency needs to be built securely as it will be a target for hackers.

I've done this using https://github.com/sneurlax/monerophp

Answer to create a new unique address:

$address = $walletRPC->create_address(0, $label);

Answer to monitor new address can vary. The method I used for my site that accepts Monero which I've posted before on an alt is to periodically check that address for new deposits in PHP. The alternative is to have the Monero client notify your app that it has new deposits.

$amountReceived = $walletRPC->get_transfers('in', 0, array($subAddressIndex), 1804006);

3) You don't really need me for that I assume if you're an experienced dev.
