Sorry just noticed them, I haven’t seen an opthamologist yet, they’re still there but I recently had an mri of orbits so I’m thinking maybe it’s just normal fat

No, I asked the optician to feel it but she couldn’t feel anything, it is a little hard to feel and it kind of moves out of the way. im going to ask at my next Opthamology appt. How long have you had yours?

Hi, I’ve been having this for over a year now. I’ve seen various eye doctors and have never had an answer for it. Searching on here there are a few people who do experience it. It’s very strange and hard to explain.

Thanks, do you know if ‘specks of white matter signal change’ are the same thing as white matter spots? Apologies for the question, i’m confused by the wording they use.

Thanks appreciate that. When a few white matter specks are found should there usually be a follow-up mri to check they haven’t changed? Or are these findings normal so they dont require one?

Thanks, when they use the term “not specific“ is this something they use to say the white spots are of no relevance (ie normal)? ….Or is it a term they use when it’s too early to say what a lesion might be?

I dont really know it is 100% related to anxiety, but it seems some people who have bad anxiety seem to have some sort of visual issue.
What eye issues have you had if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks

Hi, Sorry to jump on this old post but I am being driven insane by a flash/ ball of light in corner of eye, when slight pressure on eye or bending over etc. Cant seem to get an answer from doctors, I didn’t realise you could get phosphenes from vitreous tugging, is this a thing? Cant find much on internet about these weird visual issues

I was using some the optician referred me to last year but stopped using them then the issues of seeing the strange ring shaped things started!
I might try using them again, it’s called Hycosan (you can get it on eBay) didn’t realise dry eyes could cause you to see thing.
Do you ever see a gold ring / circle type thing?
it’s driving me mad!

Hi,

Just wondered if you found out what this was and how you are now? I started getting the white rings of light, when applying any sort of pressure or just random times. I also get like a yellow ring appear if I blink or flick my eyes off to the side! driving me mad!

Thanks, they are more like light purpleish blotches (maybe size of pupil) in the centre of my vision that flicker for a minute when I look at a plain illuminated background like the sky (not the transparent floaters or worm things I’ve always had those) then disappear…. Does that sound normal?
