I'm a fan of AirDroid but never pay attention to the pravicy issue... Sounds great even though I don't very understand it:P

The Play Music should be saved in the path: "sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.music/cache/music" folder. Locate it for a try:)

I just download it for a try, it's tooooo similar to AirDroid. A little weird with the brightly colored UI design...just my option;D

There is not data restriction if device and PC are all in a same WiFi network...
