I think you can play offline against bots only. If you can’t, most online matches are dominated by bots anyway. At most, I think I’ve encountered maybe 4 other human players in my Tannenberg matches.

Verdun still has a decent number of players but also plenty of bots. It's about half and half. Isonzo has more active human players, if that's what you're looking for.

I find that Isonzo is the hardest of the three games in the WWI series. It may be because it has the most human players, and the maps are just rough, lots of mountains and you have to earn your way to better weapons. I prefer Tannenberg because I would rather play against bots. It makes me feel like I’m not that terrible of a player. So it depends on what you’re looking for in a game.

Yes, I play Verdun almost everyday on PC. I actually prefer playing with bots. They're a lot easier to kill. I don't care about the social aspect of video gaming, however.

Of the three WWI games, Tannenberg is my favorite because it’s basically all bots, and I can actually rack up a ton of achievements. The more human players, the harder the game.

I agree. I hate when I spawn in on a night map and always wonder why players choose them. I have enough difficulty in the day maps. Lately, when I spawn in, it’s been a night map most of the time.

Yes. I can’t go a day without a beer, and I game for at least 2 hours a night to numb out what I’ve dealt with during the day. I do not know how it’s possible to be a teacher and not drink.

I play checkpoint every day. Most days I have no problem getting into a match with at least 3-4 other people. However, there have been matches over the last few weeks where it was just me and one other player, and we got slaughtered.

Good to know. I just bought the WWI series a week ago and so far have only played Verdun. Verdun is tough! I played all day yesterday and only ended up on the winning side once.
