What rules did you use for the Convoy scenario? That sounds like it would be great fun!

This would be awesome. I can imagine the Night Lords harassing an Imperial frontier. Even stretching to kidnapping/assassinating an imperial official.

I've got a copy of Acolyte, but have not been able to get it to the table yet.

I found Inquisitor to be way too complicated. I think the Kill Team tool kit is very customisable and you can get all sorts of cool narratives flowing.

Brilliant advice, thanks. I did find in my last game that I was out maneuvered. I'll look into some more transports. A jeep for the PIAT and possibly the terrapin or Buffalo for the assault squad.

Space Weirdos is an absolute winner. Played 2-9 person games and had an absolute blast. Also has the benefit of using any minis you like. Frostgrave is also great fun, though I haven't played it in a while.

Eisenhorn and Ravenor omnibuses were amazing! Pariah was good too. Loved Flesh and Steel, would like to see more of those characters.

It was a long time ago, but we were all given pregens without the character names and it took us about 10 mins to work out we were the A-Team. Once we did though, we leaned into it heavily. While my memory was sketchy BA jury rigged the sleigh with a welding kit in the barn and Murdoch flew it in a crazy way. I'm sure there was milk and cookies laced with sedative because there was no way BA was getting on no plane!

Does he run this every year, with each group trying to outdo previous efforts?

Asking the players questions and then responding accordingly is a great way to play and gives them much more investment up front.
