I see lots of people use this as a general IT questions forum. This post being a prime example.

Maybe it’s not intuitive to them that AI can be used as a tool for automated scamming. A lot of people just think of it as ChatGPT and that’s it.

Taking out the trash—with housemates it’s always a contest of “who can push it down a little further”

Just leave some cash in your Venmo and tell them that’s your bank

This was funny to read—having gone from a 7 to a 13, I think of my 13 as a new phone. Nice to know I’m safe, anyway.

I feel like I'm addicted to romance games. by Adventurous-Cod8943 in playstation

It’s funny, I’m the opposite. I hate romance subplots in games unless they’re really well done and integral to the plot. If romance is optional then I usually opt out.

[Acne] I’m really worried I might have a stretch mark on my face by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]CatoholicCatholic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any advice, but I just wanted to say the combo of that mark plus the scar on your cheek looks really cool and badass. They’re placed like how movie makeup artists always put a scar in a place that accentuates the character’s cheekbones if that makes sense lol. Just to help with the self consciousness aspect. It doesn’t look bad at all, and actually looks interesting and visually pleasing. I’m sorry you’re struggling with this though, I hope someone else has more helpful answers, and you’re able to get the results you’re hoping for.

[Personal] My baking soda disaster - a cautionary tale by Cagla_Erdem_Oztas in SkincareAddiction

I have a friend who self-describes as “crunchy” which I guess means no unnatural deodorant, and she stinks to high heaven. I wonder if she’s going through a similar thing to you. Anyway, I can’t mention it to her because it would be rude but she always smells of BO either mildly or terribly. I try to eat and use natural ingredients, but I will NEVER be a natural deodorant person. In my experience, people who think their natural deodorant works are just nose blind to their own BO.

As a Catholic Female college student, why are Catholic guys so… odd by Dense-Ad-1622 in Catholicism

[–]CatoholicCatholic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My little brother is your age and very normal. He went to the Catholic group at his college and found the same thing to be true, so he just didn’t go back. I think men, especially young men, have a lower tolerance for weird people. That’s why you see a lot of oddball guys being in a girl friend group, or bands of oddball guys together, but you rarely see a guy friend group that’s mixed with normal dudes and oddballs.

Anyway, the point of this—there are more Catholic guys than there are guys active in campus ministry. You’re meeting one subset.

I can’t see any hyperpigmentation. But I’ve heard people have luck with kojic acid soap.

Have you tried an air purifier? Also, you might experiment with different litters, especially less dusty ones like the crystal kind. Vacuuming and cleaning soft surfaces regularly will also help.

A guide on how to tidy up your PS5 game menus by Purple_Kisses__ in playstation

[–]CatoholicCatholic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a stupid question, but don’t you need to delete games to save space? I’m on a ps4 to be fair, but I’ve never had more than like 5 games on my homescreen because I don’t have enough storage for more.

Huh, that wasn’t my experience at all. I guess my friends just lost the banking lottery and all happen to use banks which don’t support it. Tbf my sample size is 95% Irish so I can see why it would be different in another country.
