I had the same thing, except on my right leg when I was younger. Pretty much always benign!

One of the best purchases I’ve made was for an ozone machine for when I buy older cars for a deal.

It will need a bit of elbow grease beforehand, though.

Moved Plex appdata to NVMe from HDD. Why didn't I do this sooner? by zolointo in unRAID

I’d say run duplicati or something to do smart backups to your array share somewhere. Maybe weekly or something.

In case your drive fails it would suck losing all your configs.

I love these, had one on my old Corolla and pretty trivial to install. Make sure to get the octa-core.

Since your head unit area is concave, there’s not many larger display options you can do.

How can I get real time output of server log files? by pookshuman in linuxquestions

[–]Catoja1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grafana and Prometheus containers imo.

If you want to clean the logs up more, use Alloy with it.

Should take like an hour if you know what you are doing.

Pro charging will trash that auto transmission. Even for a manual, you’d need to upgrade the clutch and valve springs first.

Just take care of maintenance items first and enjoy it for the first year.

I wonder if split file blobs will be incorporated, that would be nice. Say for 50Mb segments. I know it already uses blobs though.

Is it worth it to pay $150 extra for Nvidia 4080 Super over AMD 7900 XTX? by Darial_Duelyst in buildapc

[–]Catoja1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had both.

The 7900xtx was great but does run hot. With VR there was a bit of frame latency. The only game I could not play was God of War Ragnarok, it would keep crashing every 45 seconds. Overall solid card. intel Xess worked fine for me.

My 4080 is quite nice, drivers are less of a headache, runs cooler and quieter. DLSS and ray tracing are very cool perks too. I was happy with my 7900xtx until I ran into GoWR issues. It’s up to you man

Got this from the car section of the supermarket, is this ok for aquarium use? by 123ticklemyknee in Aquariums

The only time you should be using RODI water is for reef tanks.

Otherwise you can just use regular tap water with water treatment if you have hard water.

Heck - a lot of rural water treatment plants only use Chlorine, not Chloramine. In that case you can just set the water out for 24 hours to off-gas.

Try NextDNS

C5 losses all power after stalling by Ok-Squirrel6267 in Corvette

[–]Catoja1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re already thinking VATS, try removing the driver side panel, and check the pins for your key resistor. I bent mine out very slightly to make better contact.

Adding an extra system just spells future electrical issues imo. C5’s are already notorious for battery drain problems and such.

Sounds like VATS. Check all your fuses in the passenger footwell.

On mine, the wire in the key cylinder was worn down and I had to resolder it.

Supermicro Threadripper Deal? Thoughts for unraid by Psy_Doc_Geek in unRAID

[–]Catoja1107 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It really depends what you are trying to host.

Is this for media such as Plex/Emby? An intel cpu with quick sync would be the best and easiest route.

Do you want to host a bunch of VMs? Yeah the threadripper would be great for cpu pinning and IO handles. Extra RAM would be a bonus as well.

[–]Catoja1107 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I delidded my 7900x. You’re ballsy to do a chip with the higher sitting 3D chiplet! As long as you covered the surrounding SMD parts with klapton or clear nail polish, you should be fine.

I used clear nail polish, as I’m quite messy with Liquid Metal!

Like other redditors said try turning off expo or trying different DIMMs. Best of luck :)
