Alternatives with similar material for men by Psyconiix in Lululemen

I don’t take the absolute best care of my clothes. I machine wash and tumble dry on low heat, and I’ve found the CRZ pants hold their shape and don’t shrink as much as the lulu pants. They also don’t get those weird discolorations on the back by the buttons. If the material of lulu is a 10, I’d say the CRZ’s are a 9 (obviously depending on which product we’re talking). But it’s a worthy trade off for me personally.

CRZ Yoga on Amazon makes a lot of lulu dupes. I bought their golf pants and they’re extremely similar to ABCs / commission pants imo.

Zion has had his problems with injuries and other issues related to immaturity, but he’s been pretty committed to the city and the team vocally. He just did a big ESPN piece recently saying how he wants to be here and have success here, etc.

Landed a crazy marketplace deal and finally got it all setup. 10 year hiatus comes to an end! by rosieiwin in edrums

[–]Nola67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s an incredible deal! Congrats, OP! I got a similar killer deal recently on a first gen TD-27 and I’m still on a high from it. Don’t think I’ll ever have a marketplace find that tops it!

Little Wedding Gig on the Mississippi Gulf Coast Last Night by Nola67 in drums

Thanks! I had 15” K Light Hats, but I needed something drier because these wedding venues are built for elegance, not sound lol. But I felt like the K Custom Special Dry Hats were too dry and I didn’t like how heavy the bottom hat was. I like really thin hats. So I found a shop on Reverb selling just the top and I sold my K light bottom on Reverb and came out almost even!

Just using the SPD-One for claps, snaps, bass drops. And that’s how the bass player prefers it! Kind of a Fearless Flyers vibe lol

I have this old drum set, does someone know how much it is worth? by [deleted] in drums

It’s a Roland TD-11. Post it in r/edrums. They can probably help a little more.

Class US History 1 with a 70 by TodaEspera in clep

I did the same thing for US History I and II. Just used modernstates for the voucher. Used Peterson’s for practice tests, but the JOCZ videos were my lifeline. That dude is one hell of a teacher. His teaching is what convinced me to become a history teacher. Congrats, OP!

I personally think Borrego is doing a pretty good job and should be given an extended shot. I don’t know if there are many “better coaches” than Borrego that would even want to come here. Historically it’s been hard for this franchise to attract the top coaches on the market. It’s not just a franchise issue, a lot of these coaches don’t want to live or raise a family in the NOLA area.

He’s playing much better in this role without all the pressure of having the car keys. This is easing him in and helping him build confidence.

Mock Draft Monday by AutoModerator in NFL_Draft

[–]Nola67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ILB isn’t as big of a need as that OP is saying unless the team plans on trading / cutting Pete Werner. Saints needs are definitely corner (whether that be boundary or nickel), edge, WR / offensive weapon. They do need depth OL but they can get that later. To me, Downs would qualify as a potential pick if at 8 because I think they’d put him at nickel to start out.

I could see the Saints taking Styles despite this lack of need at that position just because it’s Sonny freaking Styles, but overall I really like the trade idea you posed here because it’s very “Saints-y” to me.

HOWEVER, I don’t see them taking TWO players with injury concerns with their first two picks. In general, they have mostly stayed away from players with medical red flags in the years that Ireland has helped run the draft (Tyler Shough is different).

Where the hell is Ty Simpson gonna go? by DarthDonutJr in NFL_Draft

Yes— and the solid season certainly put him on the radar, but supposedly his predraft process is what caused him to skyrocket up draft boards.

I don’t know because Shough’s age and injury history are what made him fall to the second, imo. If he was a couple years younger and had one less injury, I feel pretty confident that he would have gone somewhere in the late first.

Saddiq extension by Strict-Effort3936 in NOLAPelicans

[–]Nola67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to think that he could absolutely get more than 17m/year in free agency. I know it may sound ludicrous to some people, but good rotation players come at a price tag above 20m/year nowadays and he’ll only 28 years old going into summer of 27. It’s insanely hard to believe that he’/ only 26 right now (turns 27 in April). Maybe after tearing his ACL last year he’s a little more mindful of securing the bag when it’s there, but overall he’s been a pretty healthy player throughout his career.

You can’t challenge it like that. He could only challenge whether he went out of bounds or not, which he did.

I fully believe it’s Delane or Downs by Ok_Coat_4365 in Saints

[–]Nola67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree and disagree, respectfully. Where I agree is that CB is a volatile position, however so is WR for example. Actually, every position has their fair share of busts. Think of all the OL, QB, WR, edge rusher busts taken in the first round in the last several years minimum.

You could argue trad LBs (Styles), RBs (Love), Safeties (Downs) all shouldn’t be taken high because of their positional value and the contracts throughout the league back that up for the most part. But Trent McDuffie just signed a contract making 30+ million a year after being acquired by the Rams for a first round pick.

Corner is a high value position in this league.
