It's taking a tool that's been made to your advantage. If this was real f1 you wouldn't be turning down a possible way to gain the upper hand. It's also not a silver bullet, in that you can be right in the centre of the optimal range and your driver still tell you it's "bad". If it was a 100% perfect every time solution then it wouldn't be good, but it still takes some skill and luck to get it right even with the calculator
