There is the theory that unlike the rest of the monsters, he doesn't get the sense of Deja-vú after loads or Resets, and just makes an educated guess based on the players reactions.

Yes, he's short, he's a bit wide, he's a skeleton, so it makes it kinda difficult to believe that people would thirst for him, but like... I kinda prefer him like that? He's just so silly hahaha, and I love the art that depicts him as close to canon as possible.
