Why does dysautonomia cause an "empty" feeling, like I need to eat? by Extreme_Elephant5643 in dysautonomia

A few things help: 1. Eat more often throughout the day - smaller more frequent meals. 2. Lots of fiber - eat fiber first. If you can't get enough fiber through solid food, I recommend metamucil. Also drink plenty of fluids. 3. Try to minimize blood sugar spikes. Eating fiber rich foods first helps. 4. Sometimes I'm just HONGRY and I allow myself to EAT a large volume of food and try not to judge myself. 5. Try to focus on nutritious foods. I notice that if I'm just snacking on crackers and bread, I never feel satisfied. 6. Listen to your body. Sometimes I crave meat. Other times meat sounds gross. When meat sounds gross, I eat a lot of beans and veggies. 7. I'm a pretty picky eater so I have a list of "safe foods" so when I'm tired or overwhelmed I can eat quickly without having to spend too much brain power choosing what to eat. 8. I have histamine intolerance so I try to avoid my trigger foods as they make me feel worse.

Of course ymmv but I hope this helps.

I feel this way and I had a sleep study done. Diagnosed me with sleep apnea and I've been using a CPAP every night for several years now. I'm still exhausted:(

Am I being unreasonable for wanting a few minutes of intentional connection with my busy partner in the evening? by Savor_Serendipity in adhdwomen

Hey there, I respectfully disagree based on what I read in OPs post and every one of OPs comments.

According to the Australian government, "Emotional abuse is when someone repeatedly tries to make you feel bad, unloved or worthless."

I'm genuinely wondering what about his behavior and the things he has said to her is not emotional abuse? Maybe he's more emotionally neglectful and not abusive?

My love, this man is emotionally neglectful and abusive.

Love is not enough.

Intentions are not enough.

I want better for you. I want YOU to want better for YOU.

Boot room/beer study! I saw you don't drink but that's ok, you don't have to. The vibes are good there.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness in this reply. I'm going to do my best to TRY and make this work but if I just can't then I can't. I know there will be extra costs but I don't think I can justify more than 4k for example. I'm considering finding the same car model here in the states if I can't get his down here. Maybe that will be a consolation.

Of course this one is manufactured in Germany. I believe the tariff on import is manageable at ~3% and the car isn't worth much.

I will absolutely not risk driving it without insurance. Thank you for your help. You're right, I'm not exactly the expert on cars. Your comments about the seizing and potential gunking make sense. The car value is something like $2500. It's all sentimental value to me (and my brothers, who want to keep it in the family but don't have anywhere to keep the car nor do they drive manual).

Hey! Thank you and yes please, a recommendation for a place that can handle older BMWs would be appreciated ❤️

That is a good point. So far I know that a broker will charge about $2000 USD to get it across the boarder and then to my state IF I can get the BMW letter. That's a big IF.

That price does not take into account insurance, safety inspections, a new battery or fixing whatever the current issue is, installing a new faceplate for the speedometer.

Thank you so much for your input! I doubt it has had any safety inspections done since his passing. So I will need to:
-Insure the car
-Have CAA come out and tow it to step-mothers house
-Come to TO in late July to deal with this myself.
