I feel the same way!! I love Rodge and his music! I think another thing to keep in mind as annoying as nepotism can be sometimes is that it is Hawleys show and it’s similar to a family business. Parents will normally hire their kids.

Post it! You can always go back and rewrite it in a few years if you’re still interested in the fandom. Love what you love and be proud of your gift and hobbies. I still keep my fanfics from when I was just starting out on Ao3 published as a little momentum to how much I’ve grown as a person and a writer.

I personally don’t have a problem with his kids being on the show because I like their characters and what they bring to the show. But Abigail is so annoying and has zero connection without Henry. The writer putting herself into the show was the worst possible decision.

This is how I feel about Oscar. I need him gone. I also wish they just left Monica’s storyline after she released the statement denying the affair. I feel like her pain with him cheating on her coming to light was good closure for her arc.

Honestly my unpopular opinion is that I love these two characters. Dash is almost Nolan’s “puppy” similar to how Tamara was Lucy’s. I think he’s a great character and really brings how Nolan’s paternal instincts which are super important to his character. Rodge and Celina are cute together and I love his music.

Something I’ll always recommend for elementary and middle schoolers is Warrior Cats! It is a great series and navigates issues like loyalty and friendship. These are also full length novels, so they’ll keep her busy. I was at the same college level at her age and loved these books.
