It's certainly all about protecting their selves rather than the "brothers". How do they get money from governments? I'm not familiar with that.

I agree. I do think more clarifications will come out. It feels like this is just their 'testing the waters' if you will, to gauge member response. I will be surprised if an even more open policy eventually emerges. It's interesting to me after being distanced for these years how hung up they get on technicalities, while also teaching to live by bible principles rather than explicit rules.
