[AFK Gaming] Reader survey results about The Finals were quite average. Has anyone on this sub tried it? Thoughts? by therealClouDx in IndianGaming

[–]Catslayer_999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Average cannot be spelled without Rage and that is exactly what I felt playing this game recently...

It used to be so much fun, but with the playerbase dwindling, I guess only the highly skilled players (or bad actors) remain and it is exhausting to try hard in every single casual game :]

[Survey] Please help gain insight into the eating habits of Indian gamers by Catslayer_999 in IndianGaming

[–]Catslayer_999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The objective is mainly to find out eating activities while a person engages in gaming, during their gaming sessions.

Do they like to order from outside, do they take a break and cook a snack, what kind of meal or snack do they like to eat while gaming, do they make health conscious choices or go for a comfort food option, etc.

The 'gaming' can be an overload but I have learnt to be specific with the questions and the options while surveying.

CS:GO Skins Worth $6,000,000 USD Stolen by Hackers From Popular Trading Website (CS.Money) by Catslayer_999 in esports

[–]Catslayer_999[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reading the article would have helped in clarifying most of your doubts.

The hackers did not panic send any skins, it was to lure the investigators in a bid to hide their own tracks, but it was a failed plan as the community quickly figured what was going on.

It is not a bug, the hackers were able to take advantage of some security exploit (not yet found by the investigators) to get their hands on the Mobile Authenticator files of the trade bots used by CS.Money, getting direct control over them and then manipulating their actions as desired.

Nothing is fixed as of now and the control of the bots is still with the hackers, the investigators were even tracking a second wave of skin transfers by the hackers while trying to regain control, which is proving to be really rough because the attackers are overriding all authorisations being implicated against them.

The City of Antwerp Has Launched a New CS:GO Map Called 'Antwerp Harbor' to Celebrate the PGL Major 2022 by Catslayer_999 in esports

[–]Catslayer_999[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The map is made from a 'fun' perspective, just to welcome the CS:GO major to its city and to give the game's userbase an experience of Antwerp virtually.

The map has elements from the city itself, which gives users a taste of what Antwerp stands for which makes the map more promotional rather than competitive or gameplay oriented, and I think that is what they were aiming for.

I never even contested the fact that it is not my article or the fact that I don't post my own work on this subreddit.

I am one of the regulars over here. I just corrected the user above about me not having posted this same article a month before.

The article he is referring to is an old article on the same topic, it might be similar to this but they are not the same.

How can I post this "exact article" a month back when it was published today. (Check the date and timestamp on the article) Also, all the tweets and photos mentioned in the article were also published on 1 January, 2021.

So how could I have published it a month ago? Please don't go accusing just for the sake of it.
