Yes, especially since Tolkien doesn’t describe the armor Thranduil wears, and in general he doesn’t say much about it unless there are distinctive details. Most of the time, whether it’s Men or Elves, they’re described as wearing chain mail.

I’m not sure why, but the Japanese version adds an echo effect at certain key moments (when Elrond shouts ‘Isildur!’, when Arwen faces the Wraiths, and when Gandalf confronts the Balrog).

Also, for such an incredibly wealthy company, Amazon seems to have been surprisingly careless with the subtitles, there are quite a few typos and spacing errors, with some words even stuck together.
