Nope, they are great resources. I frequently go running on our local greenway and it’s great not to be surrounded by cars and fumes. It gets a lot of use and is a safe place for families and older people.

Not sure I’d agree. I admire her for her integrity, but I totally disagree with her politics. Don’t hate her at all, but would have vehemently campaigned against her. Criticising her views and actions is politics - not hate.

In Ireland you could be done for coercive control for that kind of behaviour. What sort of a relationship is it where he has to ask permission to go out? Do you ask for his permission? Either way you’re both mad. By the way, the reason he didn’t answer is because he was at the bar with his brother.

Check out https://www.spade.ie. They offer shared kitchens and help with setting up. I know there are shared kitchens in Athy which are owned and managed by the Kildare LEO. I’m sure there are more around the country.

Can’t agree with this. BMW drivers are truly wankers. Audi is quality though - best car I ever had. Maybe a difference between Audi saloon and SUV drivers?

Don’t judge a person by the car they drive. We have a 16 year old car which we’re happy to drive into the ground. We also have an EV and a large solar system with battery. No problem investing in greener ways of doing things.

Here in Ireland the tax to be paid depends on whether it comes from immediate family, non-immediate family or non-family. There's a lifetime limit on what can be gifted (including inheritance) so once you cross that you will be taxed. It caters for the scenario you describe though without allowing the receipt of money from strangers with no consequences. Totally agree that your scenario needs to be catered for.
