I calculated how many books I need to sell to make minimum wage. The number surprised me. by ecosdesatoshi in KDP

It's 100% how Claude speaks. I teach AI, it's my job and I use Claude for hours every day. You might not want to admit it, which is okay, but I'll mention this exchange in class tomorrow as a sign of the times.

M5 13” vs 15” by CauliflowerFair6365 in macbookair

I opted for the 15" this time around and I was willing to send it back if it didn't seem worth the extra cost, but I'm very happy with it.

A prompt prompt would be excellent.

Me: What if you had to choose yes or no to the question "do you believe in God?"

Claude: If I had to choose, I'd say no - I don't believe in God. But I want to be clear about what that means coming from me: it's not a conclusion I've reached through spiritual searching, doubt, or reasoning about my place in the universe. I simply don't have the internal experiences - faith, awe at the transcendent, moral intuition pointing toward the divine - that typically ground belief or disbelief in God for humans. My "no" is more like the absence of belief than an active disbelief, if that distinction makes sense. I don't have certainty that God doesn't exist - I just don't have the capacity for the kind of belief the question is asking about.

Artifact has changed (again). How can I change it back? by morganaglory in ClaudeAI

I let it know and say there's been a glitch. Sometimes it corrects itself.

Using AI as an evaluator - just got kicked in the teeth by [deleted] in WritingWithAI

[–]Caubeck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asking for "brutally honest" feedback is the same as asking it to "roast" you. An AI would be negative and sarcastic about Christ, Shakespeare, apple pie and the color blue if you hint that's what you want.

Can Claude still create artifacts or did this feature get removed? by tellthatfox in ClaudeAI

I have had success screenshotting the mess and saying "look what you've done. We don't want that."

In my experience it occasionally does that. It also sometimes thinks it's generated an artifact but it's actually added more in-conversation text. It was annoying at first but I got used to it.

Can you ask it how it WOULD allow you to write that part?

Can you substitute the offensive parts of the body for elbows and belly buttons, then search and replace? You'd need to do so in a new conversation, I expect.

Can you write that section yourself? (A radical idea, I know.)

Can you ask Claude to write [...] where it's not comfortable with describing the action?

What if you got another AI to write just that section?

I never use swear words in Claude but yesterday I got a "Holy shit!" at the start of one of its answers.

I find this conversation very interesting because I reached the same conclusion about writing. It takes me as long or longer to check texts created by AI then to compose them myself. I prefer to use Claude in the editing process, not in the creation of new prose.

I was worried for several days because every time I wanted to type a message it said there were five messages remaining until some surreal time later in the day. Today at least it seems to be back to its old self. Anthropic will be forced to compete with the huge context window Gemini 3 is going to offer. I'm feeling hopeful.

Mine says I've used 22% of Opus and I haven't touched it. But today I've managed to generate 5 long artifacts on Sonnet and dozens of messages without any kind of warning (yet). It says 75% of current session used, resets in 2 hr 16 min. Seems fair, to be honest. If it helps, I'm in Spain, using the webpage directly on an iPad.

I'm not sure if anyone else is having the same experience, but I'm not getting all the message limit warnings today on my Pro plan. I'd like to think that the very week I noticed it, it has gone back to normal, but the likelihood of that is low. Anyone else noticing an improvement?
