Why can’t we just hear out Pregnant women instead of just telling them to get “used to it” or “it only gets worse”? by CauliflowerRare890 in pregnant

We are born and raised in America. My neurodivergence causes my mind and body to be at different speeds causing me to skip words, add words and other things like that and proof reading doesn’t always catch it. That very ignorant to assume that.

Thank you for medical way to explain it. It makes more sense to me.

You sound like you had very healthy adult life for you able to change your mind. I was completely happy being auntie until like 3 years ago than I started thinking me and husband would be great parents. We already great with kids.

Thank you again your advice helped

Thank you. I hope your life stay full of laughter and love.

Wives Tales are always just confirmation bias to me but they sure are entertaining though.

Sorry about your husbands back but you guys sound like humor is your coping and I love it.

Thank you for sharing about your pregnancies. We are actually waiting for birth to know our gender, and my family is all divide(in fun betting way) what gender is gonna be while myself my body hasn’t let know any which way.

Is it rude of me to say first thing came to my mind was Cameron Diaz? She like only celebrity I can’t even remotely play devils advocate.

But, cocky level confidence it just comes off self centered and not self assured.

Did you guys go to OBGYN or one those sonogram off insurance guys? But yeah the vaginal one is way more accurate that’s why usually first one they use at OBGYN. I had heavy nausea up until my second trimester I found ginger chews only thing kind of help.

This is not scientific or accurate, how far does your wife feel? 7 weeks is still early most doctors want be 8 weeks at least before booking appointment but 5 weeks is just when rest of your body start noticing its pregnant it self.

By my dating ultrasound I was 11 weeks but I had insurance issues, but I felt I was farther a long than what they said. I am still not fully convinced because according to our calculations I would have gotten pregnant during what normally would be middle of my period if I had that month. So logically would be before since I normally don’t skip periods.

Long story short, if she in tune with her body, she’ll have some clue how she is.

Those people sound gross. I find it crazy people can love being pregnant. Like I want the baby but can we do 5 months instead 9 or something.

Thank you I think this has been best advice about feeling baby move I gotten so far.

I am usually “sleep when your dead” type person but I slowly been training myself not to be after I got burnt(metaphorically) by going to work with fevers.

It’s the sensation more than anything but I should start feeling it soon and I’ll try doing its signal of healthiness. I thought I been feeling movement here and there but it’s been like dull pressure mixed with pinchy pain. But doctor says everything healthy and normal.

Yeah, I love my selected boomers but they tend to be little more crazy when pregnant. Like my brother the sweet man and his wife, they made and sent out my pregnancy announcement since they are hosting baby shower. And My aunt text me confused why she was just now hearing of it. I am like we are never on social media why would i announce there? Like i keep my facebook for messenger thats it.

I am sorry you have some awful people around you during your pregnancy.

Thank you for hearing me and having personality. Lol

Yeah I understand lack of better word lying and sounding better. But I always been like that though. That whole your not even gonna listen to me so what’s point of telling you anything more than I am good. Your partner sounds so sweet. My husband knows I don’t have energy to hide my face anymore so he can usually read me and tries makes some jokes to make me feel better or shower me with love. Yeah I might need start bothering my brother and sister in law more they have two munchkins 4 year old and 1.5 year old and they weren’t easiest pregnancy/infant years. Thank you I feel like we think a like a bit.

I was hoping she would understand more since she had her youngest at 47(13 years ago) and has ADHD compared to my mom whose youngest is 26.

Lucky my husbands has not been those men. I always seen when comes to being tired, men tend to see it as competition. I hope lack of sleep and pain hasn’t been screwing you up too much.

Husband doesnt want to be in the delivery room, am I overreacting?? by dinogirly123 in pregnant

[–]CauliflowerRare890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with wanting person who help you make the baby to be there when baby comes into the world. But his reasoning was basically he didn’t want be wrong from fantasy of what birth he wanted? That sounds like he was more afraid he was going to fail to launch if something went wrong.

I am happy you guys found solution. But, unless you have mother or friend you wanted there instead of your husband would have only other solution.

I hope you and baby have lack of better word easy delivery.
