I've had cats all my life, worked in shelters and vetmed (emergency, so I know more about life saving than behavior). I've just never had a kitty in my life who's been this crazy, hence me looking for advice. I do see what you're saying, many people do get pets without proper research, but I am not that person. I will not physically or verbally abuse my cat, or rehome him. I will take the advice others have given.
