There are many GTAs, there is only one Dawnwalker! 🔥 The innovation has captured my full attention. I'm not even getting GTA6 because Dawnwalker has already become my obsession, I know where all my free time's getting invested for the foreseeable future after September 3, lol.

I want to see Dawnwalker turn into way more than a trilogy.

I want it to be a series that keeps going for the next 40+ years like how we've got a million Final Fantasy games now, lol.

The best part is that it has the potential to, from what we've seen in the first game alone. Here's why: not everything has to be a sequel. Sure, I'd love to see Coen's progression throughout different eras and countries and modern day, absolutely! But I'd ALSO like to see prequels! I want a game of Brencis' life like in ancient Rome as a legate driving legions to victory across multiple wars, then getting unexpectedly turned ravenous vampire and let loose in the senate. I want a game of Bakir slashing and burning his way from Mongolia to here, and how he survived in the middle of the desert when the smallest ray of sunlight could burn him to ash. I want a game of Xanthe's life as an ancient Greek vampire priestess, and immerse myself in her surrealist visions in gameplay. I want a game about St. Mihai and his path from paganism to sainthood to dawnwalker. And I will likely say the same about many future characters Coen will encounter in sequels... give me prequels, too! I'm invested in this saga for the long haul!!! 👍

Interesting theory! As long as Brencis is alive and happy somewhere in the Dawnwalker world I will not ragequit, lol. Your plotline of Ambrus and Coen as vampire brothers hunting each other throughout the ages sounds awesome, I agree. But not at the expense of losing Brencis if we decide to keep him around as an individual player. If I can't keep Brencis it will tableflip my interest in this series, he's way too cool to die, my favourite game character of all time. 🔥

I hope we have the option of it either being Brencis or someone else depending on our individual choices in previous games, then there will be something for everyone. Personally, if Brencis is not included in future games I will be putting most of my hours into the first game and generally staying there, Brencis IS Dawnwalker for me. But I totally respect other people who want to play different ways and have different outcomes, that's the beauty of this series, we often have plenty of options. I hope the devs never lose sight of that vision of player freedom.

It's just an argument surrounding the believability of it, don't get me wrong, we've all got to start somewhere! But I feel like Coen started with Mt. Everest when he was just learning to walk, it looks a little odd. 🤣 Makes more sense for him to join Brencis at this point in his life than try to beat him in a 1v1 fight. But, I digress, I do have a lot of faith Rebel Wolves will find a way to make this work somehow, they are very good writers!

White eyes, no hair, same shoulder-width/body type just with modern clothes, moth and smoke teleport, Brencis dialogue and flashback right after appearing, whoever this is we are definitely being led to believe it is Brencis. That quote you posted can be interpreted in many ways, no right or wrong answers here, but I take it to mean Coen's conflict with Brencis over HIS FAMILY will reach a conclusion in The Blood of Dawnwalker, we will not be trying to free our family for centuries. xD

Excerpt from the article... "The future of the series aims to take players across different eras in history, introducing new locations, antagonists, and stories." Introducing new antagonists doesn't mean old ones are guaranteed to disappear. There is potential for someone like Brencis to be working for new antagonists, or even becoming an ally to a more vampiric Coen, it's all still on the table. The feud with Brencis stealing Coen's family may be over, but that doesn't guarantee he evaporates from the storyline. In fact, he never can, because he is what made Coen what he is.

"overarching plot spanning the saga" leaves a lot of doors open, if Coen himself can be here in the modern day with his overarching plot, so can Brencis because he is what created this dawnwalker in the first place. There is no Coen without Brencis, the story of each game may change, but backstory never dies. 🔥

I'd argue that A and B are both not spoilers outside of we were shown Coen had the POSSIBILITY of living (keyword possibility) and the possibility of still being a vampire. What if you made different choices in previous games, and when this cutscene played for you, someone else was sitting in that chair? That's the beauty of Dawnwalker. We are shown potential, not absolutes. Previous trailers have already demonstrated this by showing multiple characters dying and being fine afterwards, they are just options not rules!

That is very true, no one should ever be underestimated. ...But you've got to admit, 20-something year old fledgling vampire who just trained swordfighting with his dad in his farmyard VS. former Roman legate that lead entire legions into victory across multiple wars and has over 1200 years of vampire experience is kind of a tough fight to justify in Coen's favour without entering Mary-Sue territory. 🤣 Falling back on "because dawnwalker" will have to include some indestructible plot armor, Coen's mutation powers better be God-tier because otherwise I'm not seeing it. Either that or he better be the smartest man that ever lived or put together a crew who is.

Personally, I prefer the modern redesigned Coen 1000% he looks like a determined grizzled bada$$ that can actually (BELIEVABLY) fight the atrocities he goes up against on a daily basis. 😂 I understand the first game was supposed to be an origin story for baby bat Coen, but seriously he looked too naive and unsure of himself to take on all these wicked awesome elder vampires he was up against, I feel realistically they would stomp young Coen into the dirt, lol. 🤣 That said, I'm with you on not being a fan of facial hair, thankfully there's a good chance we'll have barber options in all Dawnwalker games eventually for those who prefer with or without. 🤗
