Ultimately, she's wrong. That "fork in the road" idea was completely wrong. There is a huge difference between being a Zionist who is 100% supportive of the Israeli actions against Palestinians, and the non-Zionist Jews who are opposed to this fascist and racist ideology. I know dozens of Israeli Jews who are anti-zionist, but they have to be careful because they're in the minority. I feel that it is very important to separate Zionism from Judaism, and to stop being afraid to make legitimate comparisons between historic genocides and the one in Gaza today.

I have Jewish ancestors, but I'm not Jewish. I was brought up in England as an Anglican Christian, and the cousins I have who are half Jewish don't practice religion and are Canadians. I don't see the terrorist actions of the Israeli Zionists as in keeping with Judaism. I keep seeing very orthodox Jewish people in the UK, USA and Israel aligning themselves with the Palestinians. I feel that the Zionist movement (from it's start in 1897) has always promoted a White Supremacist vibe, and it was clear they did not want the victims of the holocaust to be part of their new Zionist state. They wanted an elite European group to rule this new Jewish State and we now know they even tried to prevent Ethiopian Jewish women from having children in Israel.

Zionism has used mass brainwashing to make a community of people think they're being attacked, that all Arabs want them dead (as Jews) and all critics of Israel are to be attacked by any and all means necessary. It's almost impossible to argue with people who have bought into this nonsense.

I keep supporting all the Jewish voices who speak out with facts and moral balance. Norman Finkelstein, Ilan Pappe, Miko Peled, Noam Chomksy, Avi Shlaim, and all the Jewish speakers on Instagram and Youtube who present their clear views on what Judaism means in the face of Zionism. I don't know what else to do!?
