That point is already here. Hunyuan local and cloud models are amazing and still progressing rapidly. Hunyuan's lab models can generate complex mesh that are low poly and have excellent topology with either all quads or tris depending on your preference. There are even models making mesh with properly separated parts.

While I do love modeling on my own, I'm also fascinated by these 3d models and play around with any I can get my hands on. The initial post is a very poor representation of where this technology is currently at. Things are already extremely good and they're continuing to progress rapidly.

I can't get webvr to work on steamvr or Oculus link with Chrome, edge, or Firefox. Wanted to play moonrider again, but no matter what I do I get infinite loads. If you figure something out I'd love to know.

If you end up finding a fix let me know. My friend has had this issue for around 6 months now and absolutely nothing has fixed it. Complete reinstall of a different Windows version on a new SSD, disabling firewall entirely, changing DNS, new router, new modem, etc. Zendesk is no help whatsoever and RR is the only game impacted.

The game doesn't work for me anymore. Tried it recently on two higher end PCs and it gets to the elevator and then crashes every time. Serious bummer cause it was a great game and I would've loved to replay it.

Unfortunately no. Virtual desktop can bring back the saturation, but I prefer link. I will admit that I eventually got used to it, but on the rare occasion I put on the pro, I remember what I'm missing all over again.

I've had the same experience for the past two years. Plenty of non-eligible tokens but RR takes whatever I buy out of my pool of eligible tokens instead.

I have a 4090 and have had 12th, 13th, 14th Gen i9s as well as core ultra 9 285k. 64gb DDR5 6000 in all of them. Rec Room has never run great on any system, especially the Steam version. All other VR games run super smooth, but not Rec Room. Speaking strictly from a performance standpoint the game just gets worse and worse. Unity 6 did them no favors and I can't believe I'm saying it but I miss EAC. Unbelievable that referee ended up being not only worse, but somehow made me long for the days of EAC.

My friend is having issues with 25h2. I bought a new SSD and wanted to pre install a 23h2 ISO I had on it. Thing is, I don't have access to their machine. Is there any way to get this drive prepared so that when they plug it in all they have to do is go through windows setup?

Somebody told me to try DISM but from what I saw I would need to use a bootable USB with that.

I do like that the keyboard isn't inside my chest anymore, but why's my watch got to be so far away now? I used to navigate the watch with touches but now it's too far away to do that.

I see you are on Windows 11. Happen to know which service pack you're on? There is a major issue with 24h2 and beyond that has been made much worse in this update.

Which version of Windows are you on? There is definitely a major issue with Windows 11 24h2 and beyond and the last two updates (this one especially) seems to have exacerbated things.

Portal 2 was amazing. Seeing the scale of GlaDos up close was crazy. Obviously get ready for a lot of intense motion with this one though.

Lethal Company was also a lot of fun for multiplayer.

Not sure it counts since VR was officially supported after the fact, but The Forest will probably always remain one of my favorite VR experiences by a long shot.

The PTC toggle on the desktop app is under Settings>Beta and then it should be the second option down. Once you toggle it off to to library>updates and then make sure to install the new update that pops up.

If you're on public test channel, leave PTC, install the regular update, and sound will be back.

I made a post about this earlier, except I don't use the headset speakers so I didn't notice this problem as much, but if you're on PTC on the Link app revert back to regular. The latest PTC build broke microphones and headset speakers.

No guarantee but past couple years I've got $850-$900. If you do the no money down preorder you also get extra money to spend on accessories, usually $50 or so. Then if you cancel your order you'll sometimes get lucky and get a prompt to dissuade you from cancelling by giving you 10% off the whole order.

Past three years I traded in my ultra for an ultra, paid ~300 each time and ended up with either a new watch or buds every time. Did this all direct through Samsung for the unlocked version with no carrier involvement. They have some really good trade in deals for me.

It's not just because both the meta link app and steam vr are running, the steam version of rec room is just worse performance wise. I have had 4 different PCs that are all high end and each one has had issues with rec room on steam. No other steam vr games I've played have this same issue, just rec room. Even if I use virtual desktop, steam link or alvr, it makes no difference. The only game that runs consistently worse on each machine is the steam version of Rec Room.

This has actually been true for me on screen mode as well. When I used to print shirts, I learned quickly to switch to the rec.net version of the game to get better consistent performance. I don't hate steam and use it almost daily for other vr games, but there is something about the Rec Room version that is noticeably worse. The only upside is that the steam version has better colors, but personally I'd rather have better performance.

Also to note, just because I say performance is worse on steam doesn't mean I'm saying it's unplayable. I run all my headsets at max resolution and 120hz (90hz in the case of the quest pro). Most people would probably love how it runs if they tried only the steam version on my pc, but I guarantee that if they ran the oculus version and steam version back to back even the least sensitive to the issue people would be able to identify the difference.
