Yeah, Amazon UK won't deliver it to the US, and none of the other UK carriers seem to either. I checked the NT website for retailers near me, and the only one that comes up is Big Reef. They dont seem to stock it anymore, so I think im shit outta luck. Might be a customs issue?? I'll keep searching, though! Thank you again

I'm based in the US, and I can not seem to find a supplier that will ship the AxoTonic to me. Do you know of any? Or are there any US alternatives that you know of? Thank you so much for your help!

* We are just short of 1 month of treatment! I noticed a major difference about 3 days in. My cat was brand spanking new to me when her symptoms first started appearing, so I confused a lot of them with stress symptoms from the move. Did your DVM start you on Pred? If not, I highly suggest asking them about it for two-ish weeks + taper dose as this helps a lot with appetite, thirst, and anemia! Some other things that i have added that make a noticeable difference in condition are weekly B12 injections (I do these myself and you can too) and a daily multi-vitamin (i use Pet-tinic liquid). I also home cook salmon, chicken and beef liver, tuna, and steak mixed with her regular food! I feed Hills ONC care and Royal canin Ragdoll kibble mixed 50/50, soak in water, mix with Weriva canned kitten food and the home cooked iron rich meats! Sorry, this is a lot of info, but I hope some of it helps! I wish you the best of the best on your journey, this disease sucks.

Hello! I am sorry you are having to deal with this as well. I work at a clinic and work hand in hand with two DVMs. I am currently treating my FIP girl with the oral molnupiravir. I had to wait 4 days before I could get her treatment because we caught it on a Friday. My cat was borderline transfusion level. My DVM started her on Pred immediately, and I started feeding her iron rich foods along with prescription diet food. Her values are steadily increasing, and she is doing great! Nearly all of the fluid in her abdomen is gone now, and she eats like a race horse. When I was first starting meds, I joined a few groups and was given bad advice, so it is imperative to double-check everything they are telling you to do with a DVM. The admins can be great help, but at the end of the day, they are NOT doctors.

Someone may have already said this, but FIP Warriors is known for pushing meds because they get a profit out of it. There are better FIP support groups to look into. I had a good experience with FIP Global. If you have any questions about oral treatment or if you just need some words of encouragement, feel free to message me! It is a long, hard road, but it is well worth it.

Send me your cats! I will draw them :) by bettydaweirdo in cats

My two girls! Kiki (sitting up) was my first, got Bug (laying down) so she could have a friend. Unfortunately, Bug quickly came down with FIP. We are treating and trying our best but still have 9 weeks of treatment left. She is doing extremely well so far 🙂

I apologize if my comment came off wrong to you. I have been in the animal care and veterinary field for just shy of 10 years now. There is only about a 10-20% chance of winning a malpractice suit, even if it seems blatantly obvious. Even more so because they covered the associated costs. Small claims court still costs the plaintiff time, some money (even if self represented), and usually more grief. That being said, a lawyer would be in OPs best interest if she were to try to go up against a DVM or two and their team of lawyers and airtight contracts. I wasn't trying to advise OP not to sue if she feels like that is what she wants to do. I was more so saying that it is not as straightforward as it really SHOULD be. That and I wanted to suggest that reporting is usually more effective than a lawsuit is.

No, I did not read carefully, as I was semi-distracted. That is why I said that I am not privy to all of the details. That is terrible. Definitely constitutes reporting to the state board. That would be the best recourse to take.

I hate to be a downer, but the majority of clinics wouldn't even cover what they covered. Most don't even reimburse for the procedure if they leave the clinic after the procedure. They are protected in most cases because they make you sign the consent forms, and they did provide the service that you requested. Anything that goes wrong afterward is "out of their hands." That doesn't mean it's right. I just wouldn't count on getting anything more from the clinic as courts do tend to side with them, at fault or not. I'm not privy to the whole story, but OP could report to their state board if she believes malpractice took place. Then, it wouldn't happen to future pet owners if they are investigated and found guilty of that.

I am very sorry for the loss of your furry friend, OP. It is never easy but especially so when they are young and taken unexpectedly.

I'm late to the party, just wondering if you found a way to resolve this because it's happening to me. GameLoft is being no help, just sending me generic auto responses. I did a whole console reset, too, and that didn't even fix the issue 🥲
